A game changer for the artisanal bread scene on the Mendocino Coast, local boy Jesse Stenberg returned home after twenty years of training in Portland, Oregon and Santa Barbara and, along with his wife Maria Flynn, opened Hard Head Bread to bring classic fermented breads, bagels, pretzels and pastries to the place he was born, prepared in a licensed bakery in his childhood home.
