The historic Arena Theater, situated in the heart of historic Point Arena features big screen movies, live music, theater, special events, and more. Visit the theater website for a current schedule of events.
Arena Theater is a 1929 vintage vaudeville playhouse and motion picture theater, restored in 1996 to an Art Deco style, state-of-the-art entertainment venue with generous support from local artisans and financial donations. The theater is a vibrant cultural center, serving the Mendonoma communities stretching from Fort Bragg to Sea Ranch and beyond.
Situated on Highway One in historic downtown Point Arena, Arena Theater operates nearly every day of the year, offering an eclectic mix of programming for our rural diverse community.
Featuring first run and independent movies, cinema is the anchor of Arena Theater, with movie screenings at affordable ticket prices. The theater also produces live performances for all ages, conducts a film club, screens several telecast programs, and hosts occasional community film events.
Arena Theater is also available for private rentals (weddings, parties, private film screenings, and more) at low nonprofit rental rates.
Arena Theater is a member-supported community theater owned and operated by the Arena Theater Association, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation. For additional information visit www.arenatheater.org
