Kenny Jowers presents “Building a beautiful coastal monument to our veteran heroes” – as part of the lighthouse lecture series on Saturday, April 19 at 4 p.m.
Statement:
Almost 10 years ago, a small group of veterans and supporters of veterans came together with an idea of constructing a coastal monument to honor veterans’ service to our country. In what this group of local citizens refers to as a wild and crazy ride over these many years, they are within striking distance of seeing this dream become a reality. The hope is that the Northern California Coastal Veterans Monument will be constructed in 2025. Come hear their journey that started with a vision to honor the deserving and will end with the construction of a beautiful local stone monument.

Kenny Jowers has been a coastal resident of Manchester for almost 22 years. He’s an activist and organizer on many levels within our community. Kenny believes that once the monument is completed, it will be the greatest accomplishment of his life. He owns Physical Gym in Gualala.
