Big Bend Lodge is a small 1940s property that sits on a remote and idyllic section of the South Fork of the Eel River in Mendocino County. The cabins are cozy and comfortable places to prepare meals, relax, shower and sleep after a long day playing in the river or exploring the towering redwood groves and other nearby attractions. At the end of a private road with nothing across the river but rugged cliffs and forest, Big Bend Lodge has been a favorite destination for over 70 years. Relax at the main beach and swimming hole or at one of the many secluded spots on the 14 acres of river front property.
