Patterson’s Pub brings a bit of Ireland to the Northern California Mendocino Coast. The pub & bar date to 1866 when it was the rectory for St Anthony’s Catholic Church. They feature lots of comfort pub meals and libations with 27 brews on tap, local wines, and one of the best-stocked bars north of the Golden Gate Bridge. They have cozy informal inside dining and a garden tent where your well-behaved doggie is always welcome. They are an “over 21” adult scene so no kids, please. They offer late-night dining after your amazing drive to the ocean. You will find that all their spirits are blessed, their wines are sanctified, and their brews are exorcised. You can find them in the middle of the village of Mendocino so just ask anyone “where is the pub”?
