The Water Gallery is a working artist’s studio and fine arts gallery. On exhibition are photographs of ocean waves bursting on the Mendocino Headlands, hand-formed porcelain bowls, and abstract sculpture carved from locally collected driftwood. Artist’s Statement – The ocean waves are constant and forceful, relentless. They flow and clash. In certain light they are spectacular in their beauty, lighting up with greens and blues, or with pure, colorless-crystal transparency. They roll and slide, they pirouette together in spouts, they fold over one another, they push up into the air and glisten in beads of refracted light.
