Sip Our Liquid Assets

TasteMendocino is your chance to sample wines from producers without a tasting room presence in the county. A tradition since 1987, Bonterra Vineyards was founded by the Fetzer family and Paul Dolan, and is one of the leaders in organic and Biodynamic grape farming. Located in the far north of Mendocino County, Alder Springs produces extraordinary wines from grapes grown in challenging terrain. Set on the benchland on the east side of Redwood Valley, Lou Bock of Chance Creek (and the eponymous label, 95470) produces well balanced and nuanced wines. Coro Mendocino is unique to the U.S., based on the idea of creating an ultra-premium wine blend to showcase Mendocino County’s Zinfandel. Taste wines that are tough to find… Powicana Farm from Redwood Valley, the Anderson Valley’s Fathers & Daughters Cellars,

Spirits and cider pair up for an appearance. Greenway Distillers from Redwood Valley offers a broad and eclectic selection of hand-crafted libations… Rose Liqueur, Absinthe Superiore, Russell Henry Gin, and tastings of the highly acclaimed Low Gap Whiskeys. In the midst of Anderson Valley, Gowan’s Oak Tree has been a fixture for more than 70 years, growing and selling heirloom varieties of apples that go into their estate grown ciders. Fewer than ten estate grown cideries now exist in California, and Gowan’s orchards are among the oldest!

Meet the Locals!

Meet the folks from “The Coast” — the voice of Mendocino County and beyond playing great music 24/7. Winesong is one of the county’s premier events raising funds for the Mendocino Coast District Hospital. Held every year in the spectacular grounds of the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, this event celebrates its 35 year in 2019. In the town of Willits, Kemmy’s Pies bake up a storm creating delicious sweet and savory pies.
